Richard N. Beleutz

Richard N. Beleutz specializes in alternative energy and private equity at Alternative Investment Resource LLC. He co-founded AI Resource in April 2004. He leads structuring and strategic advice for private equity deals and raises capital for hedge funds. He is involved with all aspects of capital raise process from evaluating deal flow and lead generation to capital placement negotiations.

Mr. Beleutz became involved with alternative investments in 2002 when he launched Beleutz & Associates, a quantitative modeling boutique. B&A successfully raised $50 million in trading capital. B&A also provided modeling services to various institutional clients and developed a unique array of uncorrelated alternative investment options.

From 1993-2004, Mr. Beleutz built a $50 million retail financial advisory business with American Express Financial Advisors (AEFA), attaining Platinum Advisor status in 2003. He developed extensive financial marketing experience through over a decade of building his book of clientele and through leading and teaching advisors and managers. He entered formal management for AEFA in 1996 as a District Manager and completed his career with them as a Branch Manager running a downtown Chicago office thru January 2004.

His knowledge of financial markets has earned him television appearances on ABC News. Mr. Beleutz holds Series 3, 7, 9, 10, 24 and 63 security and IL Life Accident & Health Insurance licenses. He received a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1992.

William Hoover

Mr. Hoover has over 27 years experience in the financial services industry building teams to drive product sales. He started his career as a Fixed Income Trader with Maxcor in New York and returned to Florida where he headed several statewide trust organizations including Chase Manhattan Bank and Midlantic Bank of Florida. He has extensive experience selling to the independent broker/dealer channel as head of the sales effort for Wilmington Trust’s Brokerage Trust and Value Management Products.

Most recently, he headed the Private Banking sales and service effort for Fleet Boston Financials' Quick & Reilly Brokerage firm where he was responsible for the wholesaling effort for Investment Management, Private Banking and Fiduciary Services to the client base of the firm. He was a member of Fleet Boston’s national sales strategy committee responsible for Fleet Boston private banking and investment management sales strategy, as well as creation and production of all printed and web based sales and marketing material. He has extensive experience in direct mail and in teaching sales people to “get through the door”.

He is a graduate of Emory University, where he earned both a BA and MA in Economic History, and resides in West Palm Beach, FL. He is responsible for supporting our managers in the Southeast.

John Wallin

Responsible for all aspects of sales across AI Resource, LLC - Wholesaling.  He directs and manages short- and long-term strategies, develops and integrates national key accounts, and manages the wholesaling distribution channel.

John has over three decades of a proven track-record of building national and regional distribution through developing strategic alliances, innovative cross-selling, key account management, targeted marketing and exceeding customer expectations.

He has helped to lead some of the best companies in the financial services sector: Kemper Financial, Putnam, BISYS, Allstate Financial, American Insurance Marketing Corporation, and GWG Life Settlements.

John is considered one of the best speakers in the financial services industry presenting at major conferences over the last twenty years. His business development audio-tape series was listened to by thousands of brokers and advisors. He has written articles in the Bankers Securities Journal, financial newsletters and has authored five books including Peak Performance, Sports Motivation, and The Psychology of Coaching Elite Athletes.

Mr. Wallin holds a M.S. and B.S. from Chicago State University and advanced courses in International Marketing, National Account Development, and Organizational Development.

He serves on two boards: The Disabled Patriot Fund and the AMAA (Alliance of Mergers and Acquisition Advisors.

Robert F. Dolan, Jr.

Mr. Dolan has over 35 years of experience in the capital markets specifically derivatives products. He currently raises capital for hedge fund managers and arranges equity and debt financing for commercial real estate projects as well as an intermediary for international commodity trading.

Mr. Dolan joined Lehman Brothers in 1973 and was relocated to Chicago in 1975 where he was the senior broker and the head of Lehman Brothers CBOE operations. In 1979, his responsibilities were increased to include all commodity floor operations outside of New York. Mr. Dolan was Executive Vice President and Director of Chicago Markets and Operations. In 1989 he was relocated to Tokyo where he was the Managing Director and was responsible for stock index arbitrage, creating and selling commodity funds and equity hedge funds. In 1992 Mr. Dolan returned to Chicago where he was the head of proprietary trading. For the next several years, he was third party marketing US based alternative investment products in to Switzerland, London and Tokyo.

In 1997, Mr. Dolan became COO of International Equity Trading where he ultimately raised 500 million dollars for company's global macro strategy. Since 2001 he is the President of Dolan Capital Advisors where he created and modeled a quantitative trading program. In 2005 he abandoned the trading program to focus on life settlements, third party marketing, commercial real estate and international commodities. Over the course of his career, Mr. Dolan has raised over $1.5 billion dollars for his own hedge funds and that of others. Mr. Dolan is Series 3,7 and 63 licensed.

Steve Schmidt

Steve Schmidt spearheads the firm's real estate transactions. Over his career, Steve Schmidt has assembled a solid understanding and background in many facets of business management. He possesses (18) years of executive management experience for large and small organizations where he has gained knowledge in strategic planning, product and organizational development, operations, sales/marketing and finance. During this period, Mr. Schmidt has worked within the technology, manufacturing and professional service industries, where he gained a thorough understanding of value chains, infrastructures and processes. This broad base of experience uniquely positions him to evaluate an organization and its capital and management needs while providing real world, cost effective solutions.

He has worked for internationally recognized firms such as Honeywell, Steelcase, Citibank Venture Capital, Price-Waterhouse-Coopers and Comcast in senior management roles with a primary focus of developing or turning around new and existing organizations. He has consulted with many organizations utilizing his extensive strategic, operational and financial skills.

Mr. Schmidt is a licensed Illinois real estate broker with many years of experience in the acquisition, disposition and private financing of residential and commercial real estate.

Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and was a member of the men's hockey program. He has attended the Center for Creative Leadership and from 1994-96 attended Northwestern University - Kellogg Executive Management School for post-graduate studies, where he received graduate certificates in Marketing, Finance and Venture Development.

John W. Hall

Mr. Hall has nearly 5 years of diversified financial experience in the financial industry and commercial real estate. Over the years he has worked closely with former Lehman senior managing partner on third party marketing hedge fund managers and arranging equity and debt financing for commercial real estate projects, as well as, an intermediary for international commodity trading. He currently assist in managing the due diligence process of evaluating deal flow and the analytical and administrative task related to the sourcing, interviewing and closing of hedge and commodity funds. Mr. Hall received a B.A. in finance with concentration in economics from Florida Atlantic University.

James A. Slazas

Third Party Administration, Retirement Strategies and Life Settlements

Mr. Slazas has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. He began his career on the floors of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Matif Exchange in Paris trading financial futures and option contracts. James joined Lehman Brothers where he managed a proprietary arbitrage book of derivatives and structured products for high net worth individuals. While at Lehman Brothers, Mr. Slazas created a Global Risk Management Group, encompassing the London, Swiss and Hong Kong banks for the Private Client Area.

He later left Lehman Brothers with a team of colleagues to form Beta Capital Management Inc., a US broker dealer managing assets of more than $2 Billion primarily with emerging market clients including sovereigns, local investment banks, public corporations, and high-net worth individuals from Latin America, Eastern Europe and Asia. Mr. Slazas co-founded the Legacy Advisory Group specializing in retirement, life insurance, and derivative strategies to protect assets and offset taxes for high-net worth individuals and closely held businesses.

Currently, James is head of our life settlement and tax-advantaged retirement services. In life settlements, James developed a unique RIA structure, created a life expectancy company for institutional investors and advised on several premium finance and structured note programs. Mr. Slazas served as a board member of NAIFA, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a member of the Court of the Million Dollar Round Table. Mr. Slazas was registered with the FINRA, as well. Mr. Slazas graduated from the University of Richmond, E. Claiborne School of Business and studied at Oxford University, Hertford College.

Andrew Keys

Andrew has over 10 years of experience in the capital markets and insurance industries. He began his career as an investment banking associate @ UBS analyzing and creating managed account portfolios for high net worth private client groups.

In 2005, Andrew joined Hamilton Financial Services/Dovetail Capital specializing in fully collateralized premium financing, life settlements and tax arbitrage strategies for high-net worth individuals and closely held businesses. Over the last 3 years Andrew has remained in the top 10 amongst all life insurance producers in the country for Lincoln Financial Group.

Currently, Andrew runs the Advanced Markets Insurance, and Outsourcing Efficiency divisions for AI Resource. The advanced markets insurance division specializes in tax exposure, trust implementation, and insurance arbitrage. The Outsourcing Efficiency division helps American Businesses in Cost Benefit Analysis in deciding whether to outsource any of their operations, and reduce costs due to economies of scale.

Andrew graduated from Loyola College in Maryland with a B.S. in Economics, and received a minor in International Business from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.
